there's a website that the inland revenue have used that is also public access, it show anyone exactly what on ebay you have been upto! what you have sold, how much for, how much postage was charged, where it went , how it was paid for and what you have bought and so on

its been used by, by the sound of it to catch out a cirtain car dealer who has not been paying his due's to her and buckingham palace!

by the look of it, it could also be used to catch out people who may be living beyond the actual means (people spending much more than the earn)

i almost shit a brick when it showed that i had listed £64k work of stuff in the last 30 days
and sold 17.8% of things, totaling £6500

Imagine the scene, car dealer sells 50% of his car legit and 50% cash
the 50% cash may or may not go through his books!

the machine (government) checks one figure thay have as your sales for vat and check this and it seemd your telling porkie pies

so all i was going to do was tell you what you had been upto on fleabay

Sounds interesting. What's the website?

I had heard that the inland revenue were monitoring the big-time eBay sellers, but can't believe this is all public.

The day the Government start snooping like that, is the day that the "average" man is doomed

What next? Pay TAX on car boot sold items?
