ANYONE HAD A TOMEI OIL PUMP FAIL?

As various other pumps have been widely discussed regarding failures, I wondered if anyone had experienced problems with a Tomei pump.

Dont need people posting to say how long they have had theirs and "Ive never had a failure" etc, just those that have actually failed or caused problems.... if any of course!

Hmmmm, not too sure I agree with you there. I had a Tomei on my car when the bottom end failed - went to GT Art today to examine the damage and one of the things that's shagged is the pump (brand new 1,500 miles ago) - unfortunately there's no way of knowing if it was the pump that failed, causing the bottom end failure, or something else, that caused the pump failure.
