Hi everyone

I was rudely awoken this morning at about quarter to four by a car horn. It was on constantly as though someone was holding it down. After looking out the window it suddenly dawned on me that it was my car. So I ran outside, unlocked the car and pressed the horn button which stopped it. My car has a Viper alarm on it but I'm not sure this didn't have anything to do with the alarm as when it goes off normally it does the usual siren thing.

I have been having a few electrical problems recently. I have just ordered an earthing kit to see if it will make any difference.

You need to keep an eye on this as its been known that faulty or badly fitted alarms can kill the battery,what battery is on the car now? if its the original jap one it cud do with changing.

The battery was a crappy small one but I have recently replaced it with the most powerful one I could fit in there. Hasn't happened since. I'll keep my eye on it.
