Anyone have one of these? I am reading the manual and it seems to imply that you can change the PIN as long as you have the key. i.e. To change the PIN you do not need to know the existing one. I dont find that particularly security conscious.

Any comments?

It's probably not that people are being unhelpful or ignorant.

Often difficult to get people to comment on matters of security. If you have the manual, then you probably have the answer there.

OK I HAVE ONE OF THESE YOU NEED TO ENTER YOUR PIN NUMBER BEFORE YOU CAN CHANGE IT TO WHWT YOU WANT TAKE A LOOK ON THE BACK OF YOUR BOOK THE 4 DIGIT NUMBER IS THERE THEN JUST READ HOW TO CHANGE YOUR PIN.

Spoken to Clifford. You cannot change the PIN if blackjax is armed.
If unarmed then anyone with the key can (if they know the correct button sequence - and can find your buttons)

Yes that is correct but you can turn if of temp then change pin then rearm blackjax
