Helmets? Are we getting them by post and when? - GT-R Register - Official Nissan Skyline and GTR Owners Club forum

As I've just bought a Germanwings ticket to Köln for my trackday in Nürburgring, I wonder about some specific information for that event.
Are we going to get those helmets via post and if so, when? Has somebody already got his/her helmet?
What do they mean when they say - only a buyer is aloud to attend that event? Do they mean that no one else (friend, father) can go to the event (inside the car, driving and so on) or they mean that nobody can even come close to the track?!? Cause what is the point of coming alone to that event?? It is like going on holiday alone...
After all, If you rent the room in Dorint hotel, you can see the track from the balcony...

Only the person who buys the GTR should come to the event,no other persons allowed,so no wifes oder fathers. Why,i think its just because it makes things more easy,as if everybody brings 1-2 friends with him,youre having a lot of people standing around....so its just the few people who are actually buying the GTR´s,so they are the important people for Nissan,which i think is good,as i don´t care what my girlfriend thinks about the car........its my car(not yet,but next year)

Helmets will be sent by post i think,as they wrote we should bring them with us when we go to the ring.....

I complained to Nissan HQ re the poor service from the concierge dept. Helmets will be there on the day.

Hmmm, 2 posts, 2 different answers...
Evolution, you say that we will get the helmets by post, and Darwin you say they will be there on the event...
We will see...
I agree that it would be crowdy if everyone brings one or two friends, but it is 10 times more interesting and fun whey you have company than alone.
But, I think I will forget those problems when I sit in the car

I spoke to Lynda at Middlehursts and she informed me that helmet would be sent. Although because I live in Germany and will be attending the Nurburgring mine will be at the track. I hope anyway. Will obviously confirm closer to the date

Sod that. My wife is as much the buyer of the car as I am and I expect her to be treated as such when we go to Silverstone.

I dont know if we get the helmets by post or at the trackday,but in my letter i got from Nissan where they invite me for the trackday,is written that i just need to bring my GTR helmet,so how should i bring it when they not give it to me first...........

The chap from Nissan Europe who is in charge of organising events was at Goodwood. He confirmed that we will be issued helmets on the day...wouldn't say whether we get to keep them or not. Also he confirmed that we won't be able to bring guests. Helmets issue was to prevent damage in post etc. and about guests he said it would be administratively too complex to have extra people there....I know, I know....but just relaying what he said
