I sold my PC by the way. Didnt want to, but didnt expect my friend to actually buy it as he said he would buy it many moons ago..

In anycase, do I now go for another PC or G220?!

Hi mate,

They are affiliated with Duragloss, so well known in the States but new in the UK. Very very slick finish (similar to my SP Sealant) as the idea is the slicker the finish the less dirt / track rubber etc will be able to stick to the paint. Was hoping to get some more testing done today... grrr.

The G220 has the bonus of not needing a transformer etc and you get a UK warranty. The G220's that should be available in the next week will have soldered terminals rather than push on's that the first batch had and a few came back (I only ever had two returns of over a hundred machines sold).

I still have a Porter Cable and am happy with it but, as soon as it does give up (over 6 yrs old now!) then I'll switch to a G220.

I dont for a second believe this will lower lap times as it states (LOL) but if it helps to remove the build up a molten tyre rubber down the side of the car then that's good enough for me !

Lol... I know, various forums are saying the same and I agree with the 'Reduce your tracktimes' etc etc.... But it's their marketing, pap as it may seem to many of us

It IS the reduction of things sticking thats interesting though, and will be interesting to see how well it resists rubber and tar spots, or at least see if they become easier to remove after an event like a track day.

The G220's retail at £149.95 but I'm sure I can manage a little better than that if you need any pads or polishes to go with it

. Drop me a pm next week and I can tell you when they will be in.
