Question Simple starting mods.

Hey i just bought a beautiful new skyline r32 gtr with a stock clean low km motor. It has HKS full exhaust (four inch piping !) tein adjustable suspension, stage 1 clutch and turbo timer and the little things like that which make it sick to build from. The engine is straight stock not even an aftermarket intake, so here's my question what are some easy mods that i can do to boost the power without spending to much money, making it less reliable and not take to much more gas as it is (if so a mod that can be adjustable wen i don't wanna go through extreme amounts of gas!) I am only 16 so you can imagine what I'm paying for insurance! So just some simple easy mods would be nice, thnx

If I was you I would get a down pipe and a de-cat pipe to really free up the exhaust. This lot should cost £300-400 but with the exhaust free up ~50bhp or so.

Watch it with a boost controler, if you have stock ceramic turbos, the don't like going above 1 bar!!

as above, boost controler to 1 bar, air filters, down pipes, de-cat if you want
then things like chips and ecus come into it

k so 1 bar equals 12 pounds i think, lol i live in canada but this is the best gtr forum i found, I believe i have downpipes already and i can fabricate my own decat easy along with the flange for the intakes and maf, what about raising the fuel with a fuel pressure regulator? my friend told me thats what he has done he has a 180sx, would this help in my situation or should i wait?

A very very easy mod is to remove a little boost restrictor out from the pipe by your stock controller (or just cut the pipe and re-attach it). The pipe has a little yellow ring round it and there's a brass piece inside (the restrictor), the idea for it being the there is to make the turbos spool up a little slower, it will also up the boost to to about 0.9 bar i think, the stock ecu will be able handle this no problem.
