yup. they don't specify a heat range though. plus the same plugs can be found for cheaper from other sellers on ebay. even the same seller you linked to, sells the plugs cheaper when he doesn't mention the GTR in the ad!

I would argue the toss with you Glenn. for 55bhp, I would think the boost levels are rather higher than stock, so I'd go for heat range 7 or 8 - something like NGK racing plugs, as they don't (apparently) do IR's in anything higher than heat range 6. Also, 11's are too wide - I had to gap my 11's down to 0.8 as they started misfiring on 1bar of boost!!

I regapped mine to .8mm
Ran 360awks for three years ,drove it like I stole it..... Never gave a problem, but yes 7's would be better, thats what I run now with 1.1 mm gap ....(over 400awkws now) Plugs are hard to find in NZ for some reason ... Find me some platinum 8's and Ill buy them .... |

Spark plugs are such an awesome discussion with skyline or turbo performance car owners..
I find like other's in this thread.. 0.8mm works well for the car with the usual stage 1-2 mods.. Soon as I get home il be replacing my plugs on mine.. Rather then Iridium's or plat based im going for copper plugs as it's the superior spark conducter. Top of my head the BKR7 and the BCPR7 are the ones to go for.. with the BKR7's they come pre-gapped at 0.8mm. Tomek |

bkr6e about .9mm gap, was running hacksaw blade gap to stop it missing, but changed to sr20 coils and now can run the bigger gap.
Dont know if its the right heat range, but for $20nz a set i dont mind keeping some in the glove box ![]() |

It seems like most of the JDM cars out there use NGK Racing plugs. Mine came with the Greddy version, and a lot of the cars waiting to be sold and imported seem to run them too.
I changed the Greddy to normal BKR's and the car feels better when cold, but the top end performance feels like it's suffered. I'll be going back to NGK Racing plugs once I find them at a reasonable price. |
