Surging problem on R32 GTR

hi guys, just got the new R32 GTR on the road today and it appears to surge when the cars is just cruising at a constant speed on a little bit of throttle, appears worse in 4th and 5th, it happens below 3k revs from what i can tell

the idle is spot on also the car drive superb other than this, there is no black/blue smoke

any idea what it could be , the plugs where changed by the previous owner in april

thanks in advance

jim

the car is on standard turbo from what i can tell, would air filters cause this ?

as when i took out the old HKS ones they fell to pieces in my hands!!

so i fitted two new filters again,

would it be worth reading the ecu??? there are no management lights on

Maybe, take them off completely and take it for a drive, dont thrash it just see if it still does it.

had exactly the same thing, seems to pulse when just maintaining a steady speed, was the airflow meters for me, got worse over a couple of weeks, cleaned, re-soldered and was champion after that.

will try the AFM trick tomorrow

just a quick thought, when pulling out of junctions the car "spin" a little bit due to a 2 way diff it has (or so i am told) i was thinking today and thought maybe a CV joint could be messed up causing play and therefore Surging or slack??? do you think its possible???

what is the best thing to clean the AFMs with ?? is carb cleaning ok do you think

thanks for all the info guys much appreciated

also yes its new to me , not new lol, one of the oldest cars i have owned lol, but defo the best!
