Yep, didnt pay or spend one £ or Euro

Each to their own

I cancelled having had a pretty crap experience all in all.

Everyone has different expectations of customer service, I wasn't convinced that if I continued with the purchase I would get the service and support I expect.

I do hope those of you saying you don't care, don't get bitten on the bum if there is a problem with the car that needs good after sales service to sort it. I hope all goes smoothly and cars are supplied on time. If this happens, I'll probably buy one, till then I'll sit back and watch.

Thumbs up

I really think Nissan should have a huge pat on the back. What they are doing is far more than what you get buying a Porsche. I can't comment on Ferrari etc But it is not a £100K + car anyway.

And Marshalls have really been fantastic. I missed the Airport experience but I have 100% confidence in them. They are the best dealer have have dealt with from any manufacturer. They always do there best for you, and you can ask no more than that. Three Beers for Davros

Nice to hear a positive experience. I think the whole buying experience has been great too. Only this late charge for the silver paint has been daft (luckily doesnt affect me). I didn't expect anything like the track days, helmet etc we are getting when I ordered the car, I just thought I'd sign a piece of paper and wait a year, so everything is a bonus to me!
Can't wait for the car! just over 12 months to go, and only 3 weeks till the track day!!!

I agree on Marshalls and my buying experience has been great there.

Excellent airport event.

Hi everyone, 1st post for me so please, be gentle, been lurking for months now, but having an aol account its taken me a while to sign up.

I can understand where supracat is coming from, ive ordered from Marshalls, delivery july 09, cant ruddy wait.

But i do have a slight problem with my silverstone track day, im disabled and cant walk far, well about 100yds on crutches to be exact, yet am not allowed to take anyone with me to help out, marshalls have been great and asked nissan any questions i may have but they not having any of it, its hard for me to go anywhere where im not sure of layout and set up, i dont wish to play the disabled card at all ,so havnt kicked up a mega fuss, yet dont want to find myself being a hinderance to the other 19 people there on the day i have booked.

So im just going to see how i feel on the day, how my legs/pain are, then make mind up about going, even the drive to silverstone is bit too much for me, but cant expect my brother to drive me there and then wait outside all afternoon.

Shame really.

wheelrepairit, I think you will be fine. On arranged track days like this they have to bus people from the safety meeting chat to the track with cars etc. You can't have poeple walking around silverstone

If Nissan do it like the Lotus guys did it at silverstone there is no real walking about at all. I bet is the same setup....

your case isn't exactly a common one which Nissan have catered for, i'm sure if you were to let them know somehow and at least cater for your situation there might be better assistance for you, it's at least worth a try, no point ruining your day because Nissan didn't cater for your needs (needs being the keyword right?) when they could have and why shouldn't they, your a buyer just like the rest of us!

Talking

After watching Top Gear tonight I have to LAUGH SO HARD at all of you that got impatient or were too stuck up to wait.

Well done, you've just lost a chance to be one of the first to own one of the best cars in production

Who's laughing now?
