Hey,

61000 miles, I assume that is the mileage of the chassis. But what is the mileage of the engine (the R33 engine) ?

Thanks

Phil

I think you'll find many Skyline engines have been opened up at some point in their life to either modify or replace worn parts. R32's are around 15years old now and these cars are highly tuneable, as said; most will have been worked on at some point.

An intelligent buyer will make his/her judgement on the testdrive evaluation/inspection (amongst other things), not the contents of the advert.
do you actually know why the R32 engine was replaced with the 33 though? e.g. was their a specific reason?

It lost compression on cylinder no.6 and partially on no.4. Piston damage.

I could have rebuilt but didn't want the car at the garage for weeks so went for a quick turn around with the advantage of the R33 oil pump drive being more robust along with newer turbos etc added in. It was a good decision, the new engine is sweet; the specialist that fitted it (MJ performance) noted that it had the best oil pressure they'd seen at the time!

There are a few blemishes on the car as I mentioned in the opening post but it's overall a very sweet motor, and in the best colour
