Removing aircon pump R32 GTR

While its fresh in my mind as ive literally just done it,
Ok so here goes.
I removed the stuff in the front grill, i think it had leaked at some point so i had no issues with discharging the nasty gasses. This was the easy part.
OK to remove the pump. I first looked at undoing the bracket that bolts to the block, but you really need to remove the pump in order to do this as there's 3 bolts you can get to from below but one is located at the pivot point of the pump so its a no go-er.
So basically get underneath and undo all of the bolts, (14mm) which hold the pump to the bracket. think theres 3. but cant be sure. Now here the tricky bit, i had to remove the filters and AFMs to get to these, get a 14 mm spanner and remove the bolts that you adjust the tension of the pump with, (where it pivots on the bracket) 2 of them, theyre tricky to get to but crack quite easily. ok once all of these are undone you'll need to undo the 12mm bolts that hold silver alloy the hoses to the top of the pump, from memory thers 4 of them and theyre easier to undo once the pump is free and with a few wiggler extention bars on your socket.
OK once these are undone all you need to do is disconnect the 2 power leads, tricky but do-able from below, (small hands would be a bonus!). Now carefully twist the pump and it should feed through the front next to the radiator, ive got an alloy rad and its thicker than normal but it still came out with little a bit of persuation.
Once the pump is out you can easily get to the bracket bolts and remove it, (think its alloy so doesnt weigh a great deal but the pump is very heavy! good weight saver!!!!
So thats it a big thanks to Scott, (tarmac terror) for is continued help and support with my limited spanner skills!
Any probs just chuck me a pm.
Hope this helps as i couldnt find a how to on here.
Cheers
Bob
