retarding timing on PFC hand commander

How do i actually go about doing this? I need to run my car in but would like to pull back the timing advance a bit to play it a bit safer.

Can this be done on the commander? if so, does anyone have any tips?

Advance/Retard entire map.
Yes you can but it will reset back to where ever it was everytime you turn the ignition off.
Why not retard the cas ?
Im still not really with why you want to do it at all....

Retarding your timing without knowing what you are doing is an extremely bad idea.

Not enough timing means too high EGT's and short lived engine.

Take your car to a tuner and break it in on the dyno.
