Power Steering Fluid

Hi

i know this might sound a stupid question but i want to make sure iam rite,i had a leek in a tube and i lost all power steering in my car what type of fluid have i got to use to fill it back up

just pop down to you local Repco or similar and get 500ml of generic PS fluid.

Did you get a photo of the leek in your tube?

all it was the tube just popped of the clip and it just feel out,but i tryed some power steering fluid from halfords but i don't think it was the right one,it did say for traction control and other things will this affect my car

Be careful, incorrect fluid can eat the seals and other rubber components in the system, leaving you with no assistance and a big bill!
Get the genuine stuff from nissan, or at least dexron.

ok thanks well,i got some dexron III amazing stuff and i sorted i just drained it again and filled it back up again,seems to be working fine and dandy
