The bailout will just save them from starving and going down the gutter . .in a long term run they have to fire the entire management and build the cars the US guys want to buy over a japanese model and also build cars that somebody else around the world would like to own.
But GM core management is like the LPD in Japan, too many prehistoric fundaments wanting to keep old habits and dreaming of the glorious days from the past. . .when actually fundamental change and complete restructre is needed.
I would buy shares in japanese robot companies now . . .10.000$ will make you 1.000.000 in 10 years.
