1991 H Gunmetal Grey R32 GTR
1991 H
10 Months MOT, 5 Months Road Tax I am the first owner in the UK 2600 CC Twin Turbo appox 98000 Miles showing on the clocks. Its with great regret that I have to let one of my 2 GTRs go simply due to the fact that my mortgage payments have gone up and I cant afford to keep 2 weekend toys Ill be keeping my silver one as my Weekend Plaything primarily because its not a selleable as this one! I bought this car beginning of this year from Japan (I went out there specially to choose both cars ...and to check out the other cool stuff there!) and have only had it registered for about 2 months during which time I have changed the oil and plugs on her. Bodywork: The bodywork on the car is nice and clean. The Gunmetal paintwork does come up nicely when cleaned. There are a few random stickers on the car which were put on in Japan by the garage it was bought from. I was going to get round to removing them but Ive not got around to it! There arent any dents on the bodywork as far as I can see. I dont remember there being any scrathes either! Bodywork is totally standard and complete (Inc the lip spoiler and the rear spoiler) Wheels/Tyres: Wheels are 17x9.5 ET22 Work Emotions (Genuine Work Wheels not cheap replicas) wrapped in 255/40/17 Tyres all round. All 4 Tyres are in good condition and will go on for some time still! Tyres are matching Bridgestones. Suspension/Brakes: The car is fitted with Coilover Suspension made by TWest. Being coilovers they are obviously harder than standard although in my opinion they arent too harsh. Id prefer them a little harder. There arent any crashed or nasty bangs from the suspension and none of the shocks are leaking. The brakes are...well...noisy! The squeal whenever you come to a stop especially when cold. Once youve got them warmed up (this requires a fair bit of spirited driving!!) they dont make quite as much noise but they are definitely noisy. I have checked the pad levels and they are all fine so Im putting it down to the fact that theym ust be proper race type pads. They do stop the car fine though when hot and cold...jyst make lot of noise about doing it! All the discs are fine and I cant see them needing replacing anytime soon. Interior: Interior is in nice condition for a 1991 car. Both seats are in good condition exhibiting low wear for the miles. The steering wheel is a aftermarket item (which i personally hate due to the fact it is tiny!) I would replace this. Its like a gokart steering wheel. Other than that the interior is standard. There is no stereo primarily because Ive only got one stereo i like and its in my daily driver! Engine: Engine is standard apart from A Pair of Aftermarket Filters and a Full Exhaust System. The Engine starts positively from hot and cold. I always let my engines warm up fully until I think tthe oil is fully up to operating temperature (ie I dont put my foot down for atleast 15 mins as the oil takes longer than water to reach operating temperature). I have always run this car and indeed all my performance cars which Ive ever owned on Shell V Power or Opitmax in the old days! Im happy with the engine and its been reliable for the time Ive been driving it. It does not exhibit any Water loss not does it overheat. Id welcome any test drive of the engine. The clutch is an uprated item. I dont know what sort it is as It came in the car. All i know the pedal is definitely stiffer than the one of my silver car. Not majorly stiff. Its not an on/off type clutch either...just a slightly stiff pedal. Id happily welcome any test drive. However due to the nature of the car, I will insist on driving. The Asking price is £5500 which I believe is a fair price considering the modifications and the overall condition of the car. My number is 07903559112 should anyone wish to call me regarding this. |
