Thumbs up

nice 1 Robbie and big thanks to Cobb tuning for all the increadible support. Joe and the team are leading the way and doing great things for ecu reflash technology with their Accessport for the GTR.

But Jesus talk about a scary moment when the map failed to completely upload the first time round. One dead GTR. Visions of sending ecu / car around to world came to mind. Thanks to Joe for working without sleep to get us updates. The accessport does have a safety net should say the port become disconnected, any interfierence (canbus speed delimiter), power loss etc..etc.. The problem being Nissan has 3 different ecu's now for the GTR. The latest June cars can not even be delimited by techtom and hks vac. All fun and games, lots of testing will see the end product faultless & a number of maps available to the user.

Shame White R wasn't on TG, she might have broke Clarksons back although we might get the chance if we do his dvd end of July.

I dont use Nissans 10% loss.

Scotts car made 493hp flywheel and then 565 flywheel.

565 was 498 atw run in 4th gear

Benji's results in 10 mins

Ben, have you changed the transmission oil yet?

Do we have to import stuff? The under the bonnet 3,000km to 30,000km is a bit wide!

Hi Robbie J, seeing as my car was used i had gearbox oil changed in japan before shipping but its since done 7,000 miles heavy use. I know alot of the Singapour / Malaysia guys are using Castrol transmission oil. I was thinking of sending an oil sample to my friends at Castrol to see what they advise tbh its likely rebranded mobil1 or Castrol anyway, i don't think Nissan manufactures their own stuff, now that would be expensive...

Maybe for engine oil, but this is transmission oil .. not Mobil1.

It might be OE Pentosin since they already make other DSG oils for Borgwarner.

I thought it was funny that the Motul oil photo shot from the 24hr race didn't show a Motul 0w40 grade on any of their containers on display
