New pics of my drag car

Hi guys,

Here is a few updated pictures of my drag car, it has gone through some more changes recently, including lexan windows all-round except the windscreen, the new 5" straight-through side exit exhaust from the turbo back and some more engine work.

The car has been mapped to 2.2bar on pump fuel by Paul at Engine Advantages and made 620bhp at the wheels and 600lbft torque. It will be going back once the new fuel system is completed for a re-map on VP c16.

Here are the new pictures, hope you like it, it's a bit rough around the edges on the inside, but will be having a full interior spray soon and i still have the carbon dash to fit. Thanks for looking. Dan

Thanks guys, there's still such a long way to go, and as i do most of the work myself, it's finding the timw to do it all, but my aim is to move it on each round and run faster but also reliably.

Wicked mate, what bike have you got now?

Lol, vodka red bulls and 600lbft!!! That's a scarey thought.

I love the K2 Gixxers, and good colour choice too. Sounds like a bargain. My R1 is pretty much back in shape now and looking like new again . Get on it mate, just don't tell the Mrs, lol.

Hi mate! Looking good! A few questions for you: how much did you managed to loose weight on the car? How many kg:s did the carbon hood is lighter than the original? I´m running a 92 GT-R approx 540/1.14Bar and soon mapping it to 600:ish and just wondering my future strip times.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Sampi - I haven't lost nearly as much weight as i'd like to. I'm still running the Hicas and haven't removed the sound deadening yet. I don't think there's much weight difference between the carbon and the standard bonnet, the difference was much larger with the carbon boot and spoiler, the standard items are very heavy. With the cage i don't think i'm that much lighter than stock at the moment, but that will change soon. The lexan windoes probably saved 15-20 kilos.

Glad to see the car went somewhere where it gets abused hic used

We were going to turn it into a timeattack car if we bought it.... luckily ours turned up again though
