small battery + hifi amplifiers = hicas issues.

i've fitted one off a new nissan pathfinder on mine....engine fires so much quicker than previously. fits the standard tray and terminals are correct way around (for a UK R33 GTR).
If you have the small terminals then you may need to change to large type to get a decent battery in there.

Maybe use this to get a Gel Battery? Some Hawker/SBS or even Stinger?
I'm planning to do this on mine!

Happened to me when I had a water leak in the book (fusebox area)
Best thing to do is unplug HICAS until you fix it

classic! Ah well, not your doing hey!
Does make me wonder why people fit these to GTRs:
The engine's twice the size and the wire to the starter motor must be 5 times longer than on a micra! And that's before you look at all the vehicle dynmaics electronic gizmos!

crazy

Honestly, your best bet is to lose the HICAS....

No HICAS = No problem

Your pcx shows an R33 ,is the car you are talking about an R33 ?
That hicas is a bit different to R32...
I would be very cautious unpluging anything to do with steering , without locking it up first somehow.
Anyway, hopefully the battery will fix it.
