Turbo timers

My RX7 was very sensitive to turbo overheating and most people who run then use turbo timers - does that GTR have anything built in to de-stress the turbo after "spirited" driving.

so you definitely don't need to leave it idling for a few minutes if you've been driving at low road speed and low engine speed for a few minutes before switch off?

No you should be fine to turn engine off completely after driving at low speeds / low rpm conditions, and letting cool oil circulate. I dont think Turbo Timers will be popular for this vehicle, I haven't seen any on the market, I can just imagine the wiring / relationship with ECU will cause too many problems.
