clutch master/slave cylinder issue

anyone had this problem?

a friends r32's clutch keeps being stuck on the floor after changing gears a few times, and the little bottle in the engine bay (close to blue chassis plate) is almost empty, he says he has to fill it up almost everytime he drives otherwise he can't change gears (i assume because clutch pedal is all the way on the floor), does this mean it is time to start thinking about changing clutch master cylinder and/or the slave cylinder?

possibly, but look more obviously for a hose leak. $10 will probably fix this. In fact, I bet the farm it's the hose between the slave and master, leaking near one of the ends through a tiny split in the hose.
