Ignition wires for r32 alarm - GT-R Register - Official Nissan Skyline and GTR Owners Club forum

Hey, ok i have ran into huge trouble. i am installing an alarm and auto start and need to splice into the ignition wire. there is 5 wires coming from the ignition switch and the colors are black with white stripe, black with green stripe, black with yellow stripe, white with red stripe, and solid blue. does anyone know wich wire it could be i have been playing with it for months and it seems none of them are the one !

Test them with a multimeter or a test light.

ya i have tried that the problem is i only found one wire the is positive 12v (almost 12v

) during cranking but wen i clip the wire the car still starts up fine !

the ignition wire you say you are looking for, will come live when you turn the ignition on.
There will also be a permanent 12volt wire, an accessory 12 volt wire, and the starter wire.

So the ignition wire will show 12v+ not only when the car is cranking but also a stage before that?

Yeah, it'll show 12 volts when the ignition lights come on, and also while the engine is cranking.

found all them, reason for all the trouble is there is 2 starter wires
