I'm not sure how many of you on here were at the HPC launch last night down in Tunbridge Wells, but I met lots and lots of nice people who were all extremely excited about getting the car.
I really enjoyed talking to everyone and it has made me look forward to the Silverstone day even more now. A few people there had been already and have all said how great the day out is. Something a little strange though - loads of superb cars turned up in the carpark, but not one of them was a Skyline, and no one I spoke to owned one either. |

I did indeed and my video of it is here:
YouTube - Nissan GTR starting up at the Tunbridge Wells launch night I may well have spoken to you, but I forgot to ask most people if they were on here, and their usernames etc. I was in a pink T-shirt and was driving a blue Evo 9. |

Thanks for putting the video up, but that is the worst, weediest sounding performance car out there!
I just know I am going to hate the sound (or lack of it) when I get to drive it. Yes we live in the NIMBY 21st century, but until all cars actually are Mr Fusion powered electric ones, I want to hear some internal combustion going on. Mr Nissan UK, if you are listening, we NEED a Nismo, UK warranty approved sports exhaust option on launch. It could be the single most profitable thing you could do...

I really hope these vids dont do the sound justice because it sounds very quiet and not much low down noise.. One of the best things on my R32 is the active exhaust and the massive baseline noise it makes which i love soooooo much, imagine this vid but times 100 ![]() YouTube - VW Golf V R32 (DSG) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dey5IYMkyqs I think i forgot to go to this meeting as well as this is my dealership looool Last edited by Eric GTR; 8th August 2008 at 10:48 AM. |
