1997 1000 BHP R33, ENGINE JUST REBUILT AT RK TUNING
Hi guys, pics will follow once it stops raining and i get a chance to take them, right im really testing the water here because i really dont know what to do at the moment (sell or keep her), as most of you know i bought her 3 months ago from Steve on the forum, even though advertised for 32k i made my mind up within seconds of seeing her and im not joking, i didnt even test drive her and quickly handed over the ££££, everything was perfect and she looked a brand new car, even underneath, not a mark, blemish...nothing, this vehicle was "proper" and the genuine article never ever to be repeated, allthough no fault of Steves she failed after 3 days so she was trailored to Ron at RK tuning the same week, turns out the block failed which upset a piston also so the whole engine was rebuilt using everything but brand new parts, Steve was told that she had a N1 block but in fact the block was standard, after nearly 3 months i finally picked her up today and as Ron will tell you iv waited for a break in the rain so i didnt get her wet as shes never seen rain!!, you could say i missed her and was such a pleasure driving her home even though i had to nurse her until run in!!
She now has a BRAND NEW N1 block, BRAND NEW pistons, BRAND NEW rings, BRAND NEW rods, BRAND NEW oil pump, BRAND NEW bearings, shells, gaskets, oils, and personally as i requested built by Ron himself and at a cost of £6500, i have all the old parts for inspection and included in the sale if you want them, if she needed it she had it as no corners were cut, as she wasn't long studded i asked for this to be done as well, also as she had a N1 race spec pump and had a crack this was replaced by a trust item, basically you have a brand new engine with the exception of the head work and rest of the mods which is approx just 1000 miles old, as on previous sale thread "best in the country" and "you wont find a better one" this truly is it, please go and view all the skylines on the planet then view mine and you will see, a few facts.... £78,000 in bills converted from yen and doesnt include the £21,000 spend over the past 400 miles !! (conversion would cost over 100k to be done in uk) £21,000 just spent inc engine, wheels, interior, brakes, cage, etc, etc Realistically £140,000 has been invested in her She made 992.5 bhp FWHP with graph at 2.1 bar (she may make more) All service history from japan inc manuals (extremely rare) She's done 23,600 miles from new She's still one uk owner from new, you will be the 2nd Won best at show when steve owner her Condition is simply staggering which Ron will confirm Just taxed and mot until next year I dont think you could spend any more money on her !! Ron has warranted his work if i keep the vehicle showing his faith in his build Ron has gone through the car on my request and confirm's the spec is as listed below apart from his new engine spec (pistons,block,rods,oil pump,etc) HERES THE ORIGINAL THREAD I am selling this on behalf of Steve who is the current owner (about 18 months) he hates selling things and asked if I would advertise the car for him and deal with any potential buyers. Seeing as I bought the car and owned it for some time this is not a bad thing to do as I know the car very well! This car was built by "Top Fuel" in Japan (with all receipts and english translations) and made 992.5 @ 2.1bar FWHP. The only time the car has been driven in anger over here was at TOTB a few years ago driven by my friend John Reynolds. It ran a 10.4 @ 141mph and a top speed run of 198mph (this is from memory) It was running with 32psi in the tyres with a soft launch (only about 3 or 4 and only one top speed run. In fact it had hit the limiter in top on the top speed run and it coasted over the line!) Since Steve has owned it, it has had a full retrim in leather, Trust 6 pot fronts and 4 pot rears, new nismo LMGT4 wheels and new tyres, HKS cage in red and some genuine Veilside electric mirrors. I know the term "best one in the country" and "you won't find a better one" are used a lot but I think this is. I promise enyone that comes to look will be staggered by the condition of the car, it is simply perfect in every way. Pics of GTR taken today 12/8/08, will do underneath shortly and post those, forgot to say when Ron rebuilt engine a brand new Tomie head gasket was used also, vehicle hasnt even been valeted yet since bringing back from RK and still looks truly amazing, if you require a specific photo just ask, as price hasnt been mentioned yet im looking for 32k which she was advertised at before but has just had the full rebuild so worth every single penny, im sure she would break for more but that wont happen, dont forget the best part of 21k has been spent in the past 400 miles!, cheers, Lee.
