Chain Driven cams so no cambelt service required. 2002Model which falls into the 10,000 mile Service interval regime although I have the oil changed more frequently. I have owned this car for over 3.5 years and it has been faultless. Condition is immaculate inside and out and the alloys are also unmarked. It is washed and waxed every week and maintained using the best fluids (Castrol RS and Castrol Super Dot 4 brake fluid). In addition to regular oil changes generally every 5k miles, the Sparkplugs and all fluids were done at 40k and then again at 65k miles. Last oil and filter service was carried out at 69k miles. The car is an excellent family car and replaced an Impreza WRX and a Skyline GTR. It is suberb cross country through the lanes and also on the motorway. It is also fantastic in the snow and flooding, living in the country where we are, AWD is a must. The Outback sits with 200mm ground clearance and has protective cladding on the lower part of the body which protects it from picking up parking dings. The Outback picked up many accolades from the press, including tow car of the year for two years running by the Caravan club magazine as well as Top Gears rating for the safest family car for children in the rear. The boot is cavernous and there is seemingly nothing that this car cant do. I've used it multiple times to drive down to Italy and again it copes with all situations. Despite being Auto it can be driven effectively as a clutchless manual providing engine braking by using the 4 speed box through the gate. Essentially I haven't missed a manual gearbox and have enjoyed the comforts of Auto. This is a fabulous drivers car! £6,995 ono.
