Sims of Oxford High Performance tour

I'd just like to say thanks to Ollie and everyone at Sims for organising a great evening with delicious food and an entertaining GT-R eulogy.

Yes. A great night. Big thanks to all involved.

Laughed at the guy who's kid got in the back and said "I don't have enough room for my legs dad", to which he replied "well you won't be going anywhere in it then will you!"

No, it's the High Performance tour. They are taking the car round the country and then into europe.

I'm just uploading some pictures and will post them soon.

Thanks for the comments guys. I've had some great feedback so far, we really enjoyed ourselves last night, and it was great to put faces to names!!

I had a proffesional photographer in so when I get the pics back (Fri/Sat/Monday) i'll try and post some up.

As a side note, bullett was one of the first here, we did have loads more people than in his pictures!!!

Meant to say hello, Ollie, but you were too busy selling one to some bloke! I'll email you tonight with some q's about the letter dished out at the end.

Also took some pics of the crowds, so will post them up when I have the chance.

I enjoyed the car, my wife enjoyed the champagne !

I think I was the first there! Still got a good look at the car before the crowds turned up.

MrsB also enjoyed the Champagne.

A few more pics as promised...

Incidently, I only spotted one SKyline in the carpark (we turned up in my daughter's Pug 206 as the 33 is at Abbey) which just goes to show who's buying the new car...

The Mob:

Does my bum...

I've ordered silver, so it was like sitting in mine (apart from the interior).. can you tell...?

Getting serious now: How do I start this bloody thing and blow this joint...

A fair few people left some of the flash cars at home because of the weather, especially the ones that came from the North, plus 2 of the guys with R34 V-Specs couldn't come.
The 599 fiorano was cool though!! Thanks Mr Saxena!!

Thanks Ollie / Simon a Great evening I got to speak to you both which was cool.

Not only did I get yet another fix of seeing a GTR in the Metal but I learnt quite a bit about the GTR, the Racing driving guy was so knowledgable with his tour around the car.

Now I know I can put normal Air in the tyres ......lol

I did feel for Simon when he was asked to open the bonnet Loooooong ....... pause I werent sure whether is was staged lol

I got to sit in the Ferrari .....what a genuine Nice guy......What a Motor....
