Need Turbo Help TD06 greddy quick deal.

Need Turbo Help TD06 greddy
cut the long story short.
There are 2 new TD06 Turbos from Greddy. will be sold at a decent price.

What are they ,,, and how much HP can they push,,,

My plane on turbos are Greddy T67's or HKS2835R's... how are these TD06's compared to them and at what RPM can I expect them to spool up ?

Hi BBD,I cant advise what you should use as I dont know what you want to use your car for - but I can tell you what these different turbos do on my GTRs. I have TD06s on a 2.6 & because of the std capacity & plain bearing turbos it does not come on boost till 5500rpm.It makes 620hp at wheels & has awesome top end, but is very laggy & drops off boost even with a close ratio 5 speed.Because this one is my street car I am thinking of changing back to TD05s which will drop my top end power but make the car faster for the street with much more mid range power where I need it. My freind has TD06s on his race GTR & makes 730hp at wheels. This car has a 3litre OS engine & 6 spd Holinger so boosts faster & stays on boost. He is currently changing up to T67s which are huge turbos - forget them unless you are building a race only car.The TD06s are borderline on the street as it is.
I have 2835R turbos on my race GTR.It is also a 3litre OS with Holinger 6 spd.The ball bearing turbos come on boost much quicker(around 4500rpm) & even on a 2.6L would probably come on under 5000rpm.If you want a hard tuned street car I would say the ball bearing 2835Rs are the ultimate.I am changing up to larger turbos now as this one is a race only car now & rarely sees
less than 7000rpm.
I am currently selling :- complete 2835R turbo kit(turbos,manifolds,wastegates,filters,dump pipes,HKS race exhaust), complete TD06 turbo kit(turbos,manifolds,wastegate,dump pipes,filters)
a Trust 6 speed dog engagement H pattern gearbox complete with transfer case, plus numerous other goodies.
If you are interested in any of these PM me for more details.
