Rumors again: V-Spec will be called Evolution

Some Nissan insiders has "leaked" some information to the press and says the V-Spec will be called Evolution instead. Max power will be 580 HP.
Report: Nissan GT-R V-Spec coming to Paris, name change possibility

These must be all rumors without any substance. Evolution is associated or rather glued to Mitsubishi and V-Spec is a heritage name of Nissan. I do not think Nissan will make such a namechange.
580 HP?? Maybe, but I would like to see that from other sources.

I heard that the evolution was going to be a mid-step between 'normal' GTR and the Vspec. Coming out sooner, with extra tweaks but not so far as two seats only etc.

Send a message via MSN to Fuggles
Spec-V and Evo are likely to be different options. But not confirmed yet.

AFAIK, Evolution is the S-Tune interim version, ie, a trim package only; a Nismo parts billboard car in effect.

Spec V is a fullly upgraded model variant.
