Talking

Yeah I have seen it.

Believe it or not, my car was actually prepped for that photo, as all the time it was there it didn't have a bonnet or wheels.

Are Meguiars re-using that ad again, or was you flicking through a 9 month old mag at your dentist???

No no, this is in...er...latest copy of 'Performance Tuner' that I bought earlier. Missus is out so whilst getting some tabs from the shop in laindon I got a few random mags. I was going to getting Razzle, Fiesta and Fat and over Fifty but the bird on the till was one of the ones that works in the canteen at work during the day so I bottled it...

I can catorgorically state I have never purchased 'fat and over fifty'. I don't recall buying razzle and fiesta either but it might have happened at some point when our shared house used to try and outdo each other with dodgy 'art pamphlets'
I only remember this mag because I was with Tash in some newsagent and it had the most epic selection of grott. I was just amused by the 4 complete 3m shelves of everything you could think of. Nestling on the top row, I kid you not, was 'fat and over fifty', then an over 60's mag and topped off with and over 70's mag. Either the shop must sell a few of these (disturbing) or the owner just liked having the most complete line up of **** mags going (equally disturbing)
Anyway, can't believe they prepped your car for that shoot...I would have been saying, 'don't prep it for the shoot...how about prepping it so I can drive the b*gger'

Scott matey,

I must say that without all the hair and beard, you only look about 12 !

Is that what Emma first 'saw in you' ????

I'll get my coat !

If I were Scott I would have been straight on the phone with something along the lines of 'how about getting your hands out of your pockets and spraying my car..chop chop'

Joking aside, nice job he did on the car

Can't say I'm a huge fan of the supra mind you...sometimes less is more. That front bumper reminds of 'kingdom developments' (I think?) kit that every other 1.0 nova seemed to be running around with a few years back
Each to their own though I guess...

Robbie,

That is the guy who sprayed my car, Carl 'baby face' Bibby.

I'm not a fan either, in fact I wished I'd had a disguise went we went to Japfest in it. Mind you, it did the job with 800+hp, and totally blew a Tuscan away on the way home. He obviously thought the same as you about the cars appearances, and tried to out drag Carl on the M25. Carl lifted off after a few seconds at 160 mph and I could not spot the TVR on the horizon. His 5yr old son also enjoyed it who was standing in the back with his head rammed in between our shoulder so he could see what was happening.

So, great engine, dubious kit, and terrible parenting skills.
