Rusty front cambers?

Hi,

put my MY1995 R33 GT-R into AutoRobot to check chassis geometry. And it sucks Front cambers are rusty and are not located where they are expected to be... Did anybody try to replace them? Can I still order chassis parts from Nissan or should I go for some tuning?

Thanks!

Anton

Camberarms from Apex are 99£ pr. set (for R 32, dont know if they fit)...
or lower arms from drirtworks, gives mor precise turn-in also.

Well... That's my bad English. What's really a problem is suspension turrents (now I know the proper words). And I've found a few threads here describing what to do. Now looking for spare parts to replace my rusted to bits

RHD Japan have alot of spareparts.

If original parts cost the same as better aftermarket parts, go for aftermarket with possibilities to adjust camber !

For best traction and grip you want 3,5 degrees camber front, and 1,5 rear, don't remember caster... But you get the picture.

I did not find anybody selling "tuning" suspension turrets... Do you happen to have any links or at least some names? I'd really appreciate this!

uk-performance-uk on ebay (apex) has alot of parts, just search them up on ebay.co.uk!

or just search for Skyline,

Unique Autosports - Performance Car Sales - Parts & Tuning..... and other sites in Australia as:http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/forums.html

i have gotten alot from Australia, and i live in Norvay! Nice prices and good quality.

Or se the trader pages on this or other forums, sometimes they post good offers!

There is no aftermarket part to replace the rusty suspension turrets. You'll have to cut away the rusty material on top, clean beneath and replace the top sheet metal with something from a donor car. Do some searching, it's a common problem and some have posted what they did.

You can always get the complete sheet metal around the turrets from Nissan. But they're not cheap I think.
