Dont say its a lightly modified 4508 with a doubled price tag, as you will get everyone here flaming you and telling you its a special custom designed amazing turbo by HKS and worth every penny, and how dare you say that, lol.

Even though you are right. Esp now Tial V-band turbine housings are widely available as a Garrett option now.

I knew you would eventually post up that you thought this hks turbo is 'just re-branded garrett'. Over priced etc.

You always do and t's awfully boring.

You are of course correct, and everyone who buys any HKS turbos is a ****.

The 4508r is still a better choice for skyline owners simply because of the exhaust housing options. i find it interesting that hks turned it into a 5 inch inlet from the 6 garrett uses and a 4 inch outlet for the compressor instead of the 3.5.

I've just removed a T51rspl which I loved and I've gone to GT4508r, yet to run it.

I dought I'd ever spend the extra to try the new big daddy HKS though.

Here's a slight variation of the above turbo (Precision) based on the GT45 CHRA. 5" inlet, 3.5" outlet on a Greddy ex mani. Some minor modifications were required to get it to fit. I'm getting closer, my "kangaroo built" intake manifold just arrived yesterday

Hello Rob-
This is on a built RB26. Tomei Full counter crank, Tomei rods/pistons with a Naprec ported head. Gonna have to spin some R's to take advantage of this setup on a 26. Next motor will be an RB30.
