you are looking around the 4 second mark I think. Maybe lower depending on conditions etc

5-60 from a 1st gear roll was timed at 4.1s by one magazine.

4.5sec is spot on according to this week's Autocar.

Without launch control:
0-60mph in 4.5sec
0-100mph in 9.1sec
0-100-0 in 13.5sec

With:
0-60mph in 3.82sec
0-100mph 8.49sec
0-100-0 12.90sec

yes, but other reviews say 0-60 in 3.3 or 3.5 with launch control and 4.0 without launch control....maybe it depends on the octane rating of the fuel...perhaps the quicker times are with V-power i.e. 99RON?

excellent R33, good find fella, those 6th gear blasts are very fast for such a heavy car

does anyone have any other times, for instance if the gtr were dropped down into 3rd from 4th and booted upto 100 and beyond?

3rd gear doesn't do 100mph.

By inference 70-90 in 3rd takes 2.1s and 100-120 in 4th takes 3.4s.

ok ok ok,, 95ish then haha!

Im not sure you can take times straight from the chart like that though as im not sure how acurate they would be as there are different variables from a launch as opposed to dropping gears then flooring it. Might be wrong though..

high gear acceleration times for low speed become almost irrelevant in a DSG car since it will swap cogs from 6th to 3rd in auto mode once you press the throttle as fast as you can blink, although they are a nice indicator of how many torques an engine makes low down and how flexible it is.

launch control times are realistic for real world driving, the GT-Rs launch mode seams easier to set and about the same time as my R32s and I use that a reasonable amount. (just NEVER set it if there's a car in front of you or you don't have 400 yards of free space ....)

again if the DSG / ECU works like it does on the R32 it learns how you drive in auto mode, for normal driving i can now leave mine in auto and 99% of the time it picks the gear i want, the engine also runs very much better on v power producing noticeably more torques low down and pulling harder with out the need to swap cogs at low speeds which it does alot with 95 ron

You have an automatic R32 GTR!?!?

From what I understand of the R35 DCT, the auto mode changes up at low revs and is purely for cruising. It doesn't do kickdown downchanges like a regular autobox as found on perhaps an Audi A8 or similar.
