Pair of HKS 2540s

Perfect condtion.
These have been removed and inspected showing very little wear.
Good for circa 700bhp.
Won Redline dyno day in 2004 at G Force.
Very little use since beyond driving to Abbey Motorsport annually for MOT.
No drag starts. No top speed runs. A few track days. Always warmed up and cooled down carefully.
£800 ono.

Turbos were rebuilt in nov 2003 by Turbo Dynamics as bearings were slightly worn (they had neither blown nor smoked) they were rebuilt in order to maintain optimum performance.
Engine did 4.5k miles in 2004 then 2.5k miles since.

what are these like compared to 2530's. I want 5 - 600 bhp but don't want to push the turbos. Will they run well on a rb26?

More power particularly at higher rpm.
I ran these at 1.3 and 1.6 bar so as not to stress them.
They can certainly deliver 600bhp without being pushed.

these drive like a standard turbo ++, they spool like stock but carry on as ged describes well up in to the rev range without falling away. I like them on a RB26/7, but thats personal preference.

for my driving style yes, but if you want low down response perhaps not. I love them, but thats because they deliver power as i want it
