2009 CANNONBALL RUN IN JAPAN!!! Some of us have been talking about this for some time now. Got one year to plan for it and wanting to start it sometime next summer maybe same time Or we can even start it in the beginning of the year so we can run in the cold weather which would be better for our cars. Havnt made a final route yet but I have a good plan for what we should do. Need to find Hotels and maybe track time at fuji which is part of the route that we were planning on doing. This run is going to be costly cause of the gas prices. SO START SAVING!!! It's only going to be maybe 3 to 5 days or less... I will be talking about it at our next met in D.F. This should be a fun thing to do with the group. Everyone is welcome and any type of car is welcome too. Should be a few famous people coming from the states to be part of this that I know. Going to talk to the guys that started the run in the states and europe for some ideas. So if anyone has any ideas post them here. I also will be starting a list of jobs for people to do like finding Hotels, places of interest, track dates, clubs and FOOD! O and if you have a better name then the cannon ball run since its been used all over the world let me know and I can design a banner or sign... Dino-Maybe you can cover it? Cheers! Dan B. |

AHO GAIJIN KAMIKAZE NO SAYONARA RUN Here are the highlights of the race Race starts in Wakanai (that's about as far as you can get away from Tokyo to the north of Hokkaido). 200Gaijins will meet up the day before at the local towns Isakayas. As there are no parkings for our cars we will just leave them on the road side. (Note: When the Koban dwarfs show up we will ask some drunk russian sailors to polish their noses). 4AM (Race Starting day) 200 gaijins are fcuked up with sake and beer. 83 of us will be fighting with gay russian sailors and 54 won't make it (we will ask the responsible embassies to take contact with the autorities in Primorsky for their extradition later). 5AM 146 Gaijins are now trying to get a bit of sleep in their cars, 13 fellow members will loose their car keys and die a slow death in the freezing ice storm. 8AM 133 gaijins are now taking the pole positions on the local town largest street (about 1m33wide). The start signal can be a Koban dwarf shooting with his gun in the air or the gay sailors running by from the harbour with AK47s . . . 27 gaijin cars will crash in to each other and be eaten up by the evil locals . . 9AM The race is on!!! 115 gaijin cars will head to Hakodate, they will meet on their way the complete armored police core from Hokkaido (about 2-3 men aged in the 60. on one 77. Honda Scooter). It won't be clear who run them over thought. 11AM Arrival in Hakodate 114 gaijins will rush through Hakodate city, one will be missing because his 10000000HP GTR has run out of gasoil, he will be eaten by Pinguins. In the city it will be unclear if the salary men are waving in an angry manner or supportative manner, . . .many will be run over. 11:33AM Taking the bridge to Honshu 114 gaijins will cross the bridge in about 0.00034sec as all their cars are GTRs that have , as every body knows, all more then 1000000000000000HP and can run faster then lightspeed if they want. 11:33:00035secAM The bridge is crossed, Honshu is ours 114 gaijins arrive on Honshu, 64 choose the express Way , and 50 national roads. 3PM 64 gaijins get chased by 356789890 japanese police cars (who drive clean one behind an other and trying to communicate using the speakers on the roof of their cars, they will ask: Pulise, stop youru Kaaaaa !!! 4PM 356789890 japanese police cars will still be driving behind us. 5PM 356789890 japanese police cars will still be driving behind us. 6PM 356789890 japanese police cars will still be driving behind us. 7PM 356789890 japanese police cars will still be driving behind us. 8PM 64 gaijins arrive safe in Tokyo, there are nomore police cars behind, as they forgot their ETC cards an are now lining up in front of the gates . . . Wangan Racing beginns, 61 gainjins will die instantly as they wil crash in to traffic jam, one is catapulted 56km and lands safe on the Tomei express way direction Shizuoka . . . 9PM 46 gaijins from the 50 who took the national roads arrive at Mt. Fuji. 4 of them had an unknown engine failure (very rare on GTRs) and take the break for a piss . . . 23 evil Tanukis will show up behind the bushes and bite off the fellow GTR members *****es , they will die short after. The local farmers will sell the broken GTRs as Grade 10 on the USS Auctions. 9:30PM The single gaijin running the Tomei EW will be chased by 67889877709 police cars and they will communicate through speakers on the roof of their cars and say: Pulise , stopu stopu stopu . .!!! 10PM 5 of the remaining 46 gaijins will get lost in the woods around Mt.Fuji. their souls will be eaten by the ghosts of 1000 dead salarymen, who killed them selves in the woods, because they forgot to empty their bosses dustbin in the office once . . . . 12PM Drive through Aichiken. There is zero traffic as 110% of the inhabitants from Aichi work as slaves 24/24H inside Toyota factories, in oder to build stupid looking Hybrid cars for movie stars on the other side of the pacific. The gaijin on the expressway is still being chased by 67889877709 police cars and they will communicate through speakers on the roof of their cars and say: Pulise , stopu stopu stopu . .!!! 2AM following day The one gaijin on the Expressway and the now 41 driving the nationals meet up at a service area in Okayama where the oldest member of the GTROC (they say he was allready here before Perry came???) . He will offre greentea to the remaining racers, 5 will die instantly as they can only live from fish chips and guiness. After the remaining group will leave the service area and the oldest member of the GTROC will do Harakiri on the Parking in their memory (the local truck drivers will just run him over as they not have time for this shit . .) 6AM 36 pride gaijins are now chasing the rising sun and are passing at lightspeed through Honchu and cross the sea to Kyushu with goal the mayors house of Myasaki. They didn't get any police on the road as the JSDF has dispatched 34 jets to intercept them,(which gives the gaijins around 3 houres, as that is the time for the japanese army to respond to a threat) 8:45AM 36 gaijins arrive safe at the Myasaki mayors house where the funny mayor welcomes them. ( the JSDF jets are shoot down by the JSDF navi, which thought them being north korean intruders . . . .) After a short celebration infront of 67489 Obabas, taking pictures of the winniners, some crazy Otaku will stab our heros in the back with an umbrella. They won't die, but the local koban will arrest them for being beaten by a japanese citizen (?) 10AM 36 gaijins are now infront of the judge, they will all get the death penalty and hanged on 10:34AM. 11AM The russian president can't stand what has just happened in japan, as the gay sailors from Primorsky reported the same day that the gaijins on board their boats were willing and cheerfull. Russia wants then to annylate japan by droping 1200Abombs on the country. 11:30AM Bono arrives in Moskau and saves japan from annylation by spending a night with the russian president , the sailors and the gaijins. Next day 14PM Japan Tokyo Bono is made emperor of japan |

I'm game, I think there's a ferry from Busan to Fukuoka or somewhere thereabouts. I'll need to expand my fuel tank as I only get 8mpg.
Wakanai? Sounds familiar, I spent my spring holiday traipsing all around Hokkaido. That's right - I went overseas on holiday and went straight to....Asahikawa! : |
