things need to be done during first service?

I dont understand why is it so complicated to find out what needed to be done during first oil change????

at 1000km engine oil and filter change

at 6000km engine oil and filer, air filter, gearbox oil, plus differential front and rear

after that every 5-6000km

Am I Correct?????? Thanks in advance

Its getting so confuse

it's all listed in your maintenance book but if you want to see the US version go to page 24 here: http://www.nissanusa.com/pdf/techpub...09_GTR_SMG.pdf

so no oil change at 1000mile service then..........well i suppose that answers the question also about whether they use a different "running-in" oil at the beginning

you should change the oil every 3500 miles.

Do you know why the GT-R requires Synthetic 0W40 with a short change interval?, Highlights of my conversation with a Nissan design engineer
1. Plasma lining
2. More importantly....lubricating the turbo bearings that spin at 20-100K rpm

Yes, the engine oil cools the turbo bearings, for which 0W40 at every 3500 miles is a treat.

Think twice before you decide to skip that oil change and kudos if you ran the engine hard and changed the oil early.

Just like to point out, for the GTR owners new to turbo cars, that almost all turbo cars I have owned operate the turbos between 20,000-120,000 rpm. All the Subarus (that are turboed) operate the turbos in this range (or higher - example if you live at higher elevations). Subaru requires oil changes every 3750 miles for turbo models with regular dino oil.

Just wanted to point that out so someone who saw that rpm wouldn't think 'Wow the GTR's turbos spin SO fast, faster than normal...'
this was from nagtroc
