my new r32 gtr

i bought an r32 gtr yesterday but driving it back the gear shifter was hot to the touch is this normal?jason

The gearbox's and transfer box's get so hot on these things. I have a stock gear nob and all is fine. I bet if you had a nice shinny metal one it would get really hot.
