West Way Oxford (HPC)

Just received letter from Nissan (UK) Sims Of Oxford has now been acquired by West Way. I think they already have about 10 Nissan Dealerships but don't have a HPC as far as I can tell.
You kept that quite Ollie but hopefully you will be staying on as you help & GT-R Knowledge/information is appreciated on this forum as well as at the Dealership.

West Way is actually a wholly owned subsidiary of Nissan Motors (GB) Ltd so in terms of deposit security I would think our deposits are safer now (chance of going into receivership less likely) Motor dealerships change hands all the time so I wouldn't expect any difference for any orders that were placed with Sims I wonder if that's why the Contracts were not signed on the HP Tour Night.

I sure hope they have better levels of service than Westway Basingstoke. It has taken me 1 year to get corroded rays changed under warranty on my 350Z. Took 40-50 phone calls all ignored numerous visits, 2 letters to the Principal (ignored) and a letter to the MD.

Hi all. Sorry it's been a while. We've had a few things to sort out in Oxford!!

Firstly, and most importantly......Yes I am staying.

Secondly, I apologise to everybody that I couldn't reveal what was happening. I only officially found out a couple of weeks ago, and I was legally bound to not say anything. (Anybody here for the speach last wednesday may have heard me refer to ourselves only as 'us here in Oxford'!)

Thirdly, and most importantly, everybody's deposits, and orders are 100% safe, and I am still managing the whole GT-R process (Hope that doesn't put anyone off )
I am assured the new order forms are iminant (sp) and as was quite rightly pointed out, I didn't issue them last week, as not only would it have been fruitless, as I'd have had to do them all again, It wasn't strictly legal to supply a contract enterred into by one party knowing fulwell they couldn't oblige their part.

Rest assured, everything is still on schedule as was, except with a different name above the door.

It is, as they say, all good.

Anybody wants to have a chat, the phone number is the same, although my e-mail has changed (I'll let everyone know when the damn thing actually works!!)
