I will inform my HPC of the problem but knowing Japan it will takes months to address. I figure they'll sort it out by the time the spec-v is launched as that would be a prerequisite for a track car.

R mode just isn't R enough....

i had the same problem at Silverstone with the track car. pulled the paddle twice for a double downshift and it just dropped down one gear.........comparing it to my 12 year old BM 740i........steptronic...when in manual mode, that changes gear MUCH slower than the GT-R but at least if you pull the lever more than once it drops down as many gears as you want

ironically it works better in auto mode with R than it does in manual mode. when i was in auto with R and slammed on the brakes for a corner it would downshift very quickly.

was playing with my DSG (VW) this morning constant 50/6th 3 flicks of the down shift paddle and it picks 3rd before you have blinked, it doesnt go 6 5 4 3 just 6 - 3 if you press the paddles as fast as you can, if you wait a fraction of a second between presses it does select each gear
