A bit off-track here, but this line reminded me of a formula one quote from years ago.

Interviewer :
So why the breakdown, was it an electrical fault ?
F1 team boss:
Well, you could say that. A conrod went through the alternator !

Made me laugh anyway.

Its the main 75A fuse in the fuse box, it had gone and was not obvious due to having a very fine break in it. I put a stanley knife blade in the crack and it sorted it, all lights on. So, I need one of those fuses.

Where the heck do I get one?? They are a big click in affair.
It would be worth spending a little more time checking the wiring to see if there is any obvious reason that a 75A fuse has blown, It could just be one of those things, But thats a heavy fuse and it would be wise to proceed with caution.

i think you're right m8.

Ill have to go through everything, but It might be due to the car being is storage with all the centre console out and a couple of wires bare ended. The muppets that had been drifting my poor car around the compound and busting my g/box wouldnt have considered making the wire ends safe!!

Stupid idiotic people we call friends eh?

They dont even have the balls to admit they did it.

Probs cos I'd bitch slap the pair of 'em mind!!
