The speaker covers are part off the shelf, and can only be removed once the shelf is removed

To remove the shelf, you have to take the rear seat out

2 x torx bolts for the bottom part of the seat, and then 2 x 10mm bolts for the backrest, and then the backrest slides upwards and out. Then you'll see 2/3 clips holding the shelf, and the shelf will slide towards the front of the car (towards you)

For the battery, I don't think you need to remove your rear speakers.

Once you take the back seat off, you will see a big metal plate that bolts off, I think thats easier.

As you remove the rear shelf you will most likely snap the plastic tube that feeds the rear wash wipe, you won't notice though till you find it's not working but you'll keep trying it just to be sure and all the time you'll be filling up the electrics under the shelf with washer fluid... trust me been there done that...

Look on the original speakers, the terminals are marked + and - but you need to do that before you pull the wires off... to see which is positive, doh! too late.
