Hi all. Am new to this forum but also currently in Tokyo for a few days

Dear all,

Firstly I'd like to say what a great forum this is. I'm one of the many that left it too late to order my gtr. Although now quietly counting down to q3 2010.

I'm currently in Tokyo for a few days and saw my first gtr in its true guise at nissan hqs showroom in ginza. Took some pics and was pleasantly surprised to see it had the folding mirror function. It also had a working tv ... Not sure if we get this in the uk. One thing which surprised me was the rear seats. Seemed a little more cmfortable than my old 997. I also managed to pick up a DVD when I asked for a brochure. Apologies if this has already been covered.

My lasting impression of the car is its sheet presence and stance on the road.. And in feeling the swutchgear inside I too struggle to understand how nissan can sell this car at the price in the uk. A wonderful piece of kit.

Regards

Ps my apologies for any typos on this thread... Being done on an iPhone...

hi prashan. if you want to have a go in one let me know and i'll give you a quick drive around the area in mine. if you can get to the grand hyatt in roppongi hills during the day (lunch time) i'm sure we can figure something out.

Probably still waiting at the pickup spot. I would wait a few days if needed.
