the oem pads work very well but they will wear faster and are much more expensive. the rotors are good too, except prone to cracking on the race track from heat issues and repeated braking. also i heard something about dust causing some kind of issues (lol, so many rummors :P)

the stock hardware will be good for everyone. its just exspensive stuff, where as aftermarket will be cheaper, last longer (depending on many factors like brand and usage etc) and usually perform better, not to mention more choices for your activities like track only or street.
