Probably is one of the main boost pipes like whats said above .

i had same thing once when putting my foot down hard and getting a good speed quick then suddenly i loud bang sound and next second no power and when car got to a standstill it wouldnt even hold tickover no matter how much i tried to hold it with the throttle .

the one that came on mine was of the inlet manififold when i was ruuning standerd boost pipes then but switched to hks hard pipe kit .

even blown one of the small black plastic hard pipe types at the back of the engine and only notice that because i noticed a slight glitch/hessitation when when accelerating past 140 mph .
car was running good power still but some thing didnt quite feel right so i pulled over and got the torch out ( night time ) and spent about half hour inspecting the engine till i found the problem then plugged it back on and the car was just a little sharper again with the throttle .
