GTR turbos?

HI

Can anyone tell me if GTR turbos are the same as the GTST ones (only twice as many )

On the for sale section there are steel rebuilt GTR turbos that the owner may split to give me just one which will work out cheaper than sending mine off to be done.

Need to know though if it will go straight on or is it different and far too much like hard work

Thanks,
David

GTR Turbo

Hi david,

Hows the Cooler going?

Standard GTR Turbo doesn't fit as its two stud i think opposed to three on the GTS-T. There would be no advantage even if it did fit as it flows less than the GTS-T turbo.

I have been down this route before.

If your interested Mark at abbey had one for sale a while back and that was a GTR HKS GT2540, he already had the front adapter pipe all that was needed was a modification to the downpipe.
I only pulled out becuase it was max rated at 350bhp and was looking for something with a little more tuning potential.
Good price though £400+vat for turbo and adapter pipe.

regards

Jonathon

Thanks,
David

HKS

Hi Matt

Went for the HKS T04e along with all the other goodies. Should be good for 350+ but Abbey have advised I will probably need new injectors, z32 afm and poss. fuel regulator.

Well - guess my week will be taken up with OT, funding all this

Cheers,
David
