Question Petrol Catch/Door Sticking

Has anyone else had this problem?
Petrol catch/door sticks and wont open untill I'v tried 4/5 times.

Is there a easy fix???

I bent the catch on the flap itself out (actually in) a bit, sorted.

hello mate. i had exactly the same problem. i tried everything, wd40,, grease you name it, no joy.
then i started bending things. first thing i did was the catch on the inside, the one attached to the car, i bent it inwards, i.e towards the car, by about 2mm. hey preston problem sorted!!!

Yep had this about 3-4 times over the 6 years of ownership
