I'm having somewhat of a similar problem with my R32 as well. Ive got no fuel level reading but my light comes on when its low. I know that its getting voltage because if you take the cluster out the gauge goes to E (0%) and when its put back in and power is given to it it draws below E (like -10% lol) I have a feeling its missing a ground somewhere or the floater on the pump is hosed.

I had the same problem after the previous owner had the tank opened to empty it as he accidently filled her up with diesel
![]() It was the floating part off the arm which has the potmeter on it that was bend a little. Might want to check the in-tank connections too ![]() |

Thanks... will check the intank parts. and maby trying go give the plug for the fuel gauge a ground connection maby that would make the gauge show some readings.. it's just weird that i now dosent work, havent done a think to the tank, had just had the car standing still in 3 mounths. and taken the plugs off ??
