Fuel saving tec?

You don't buy a GTR if your after 50 MPG but with Peek oil here and about to bite i was thinking to night if/how Nissan would respond?

Stop/Start
7 Gear DSG
Cutting out one bank of the V6 (Like Honda).
E85

.................Or not at all.

not at all. it's up to the driver to limit fuel consumption by leaving the car in auto mode, not using aircon and driving like a pussy. for the rest of us who hate auto mode though, we have to just accept the high fuel costs.

btw, it's not a god given right to have access to cheap fuel and a car. this is a sports car and as such is shite with fuel. if i were nissan and you asked me this question, i'd tell you to go buy a nissan march instead.

Oh Indeed, it must be said that for the given perfomance you got the car for 50% of the going rate. In Mean £54,0000 in the UK V £100,000 for an 911 turbo.......£50,000 buys a lot of fuel.
