I have no complaints about my Stoptechs for hard road use - they made a hell of a difference to the car's braking.

Other details on demand via email from Abbey. Note that the Stoptech rears will need modifications to the pad retaining pin clip for regular road use, but Abbey know how to do that after mine demonstrated a factory weakness.
Torque, I've got 560 at all 4 wheels and I think 696bhp thats on normal Shell V Max.

560 ft/lb ATW

That's another category (working on 100 units per) up from mine, so take advice from folk with cars in a similar torque range.

Not at all ....

I suggesting that if I've just spent £900 up-grading my brakes to Performance Friction on the reccomendation of a certain noctunal underground burrowing moderator, and they are not better than AP's, he might not be seen above ground again !

Yep I also find a longer brake pedal travel on mine after hard use too John/Mark !

The brake tap trick might work (never tried it to be honest as it would scare the cr*p out of anyone following you) but at £3-4K for the front/rear setup, should you have to resort to doing this ?

No the brakes problem , we are all pushing the car past what it was desigend for.

32 run 8 x 17 with 225 tyres , we all running 265 tyres on 9 and 10in rims , running on the track.Putting nearly 1.2/1.3 g through them at some circuits.Flexs the uprights as I have said before.

Buy some Group A hubs if you can find them wheel bearings are nearly 65% bigger in Dia with some massively strong billet uprights.
