I tried but I could not get it down shift 2 in one go, in race its really quick but goes thro both gears, I was playing with a porker as well.

I will try harder tomorrow

Guys, if I am not completely wrong, the nature of a direct shift gearbox is that it comes with one double-clutch and actually two sets of gearboxes, one for 1-3-5, the other for 2-4-6.

As the clutch is either connected to the even or uneven gears, you can't shift let's say from 5 to 3 directly, as you have to go through 4.
So it's only thanks to very short shifting times in R-mode that it almost feels like shifting down 2 in 1...

sorry, only in German - but we invented it ;-)

Anyway, this is still theoretic stuff - I can't wait to try it myself in a couple of weeks on the Nordschleife :-)

Cheers & good night, Jan

interesting, mine definitely looks and feels like it jumps down 2 gears. maybe it's doing it so quickly i cannot detect it but it's definitely working. robbie, is your car run in and had it's first service? the gearbox opens up a bit after a few thousand Ks... that might explain why mine can do it but yours does not.

i'll crash if I watch that at the speed i'm driving... But fair point. Still, it's lightning fast for me when i do it regardless of it having to go thru 1 extra gear.

You can have the dealer with a gtr certified tech re-program the Transmission for you.
first things first, the car has to be cool to tune it. no more than 87C so try cooling it down to about 50C

the delay is all adjustable. just making very small adjustments to the settings will help a great deal.

The gtr tech will drive with you and he can make the small adjustments using consult iii, they are very miniscule adjustments.

also change the tranny fluid often! especialy after a race.

spam?

in any case the R35 trans shifts faster with more throttle response. so make it think its putting the trottle at wot all the time and you have an imporvement.
