Banjo bolt difference R33/R34?

Without going into the details of why, does anyone know if the turbocharger oil inlet banjo bolts are the same on R34 and R33 GTRs? R34's came with BB center section turbos if I'm not mistaken. My concern is the internal diameter of the bolt orifice.

Thanks!

THEY ARE THE SAME MATE. I KNOW CAUSE ME AND MY MATE BOTH SWAPPED TURBOS OVER LAST WEEK AND I WAS GOING TO KEEP THE BANJO BOLTS OF HIS R34 AND PUT THEM IN WITH MY GT2860'S ON MY R33.
HE FITTED HKS TURBOS SO WE ORDERED HKS RESTRICTOR BOLTS(FEEKING £35 FOR PAIR!) TO FIT HIS BUT WHEN REMOVED THEY WERE BOTH IDENTICAL.
APPARENTLY U DONT NEED OIL RESTRICTORS WITH GT2860'S AND BOTH RB AND RK DONT FIT THEM AND THEY MUST HAVE FITTED PLENTY SETS SO DEFFO KNOW WHAT THERE ON ABOUT.

Well, if you run a high volume/pressure oil pump (like me), then you must run restrictors. I didn't know this 'till after the turbos went in. I didn't even know HKS made these. No matter how many cars I build, it never fails, something is always overlooked

Thanks!

Well u could use the hks bolts as they are the same fitment but have a restrictor fitted or on the cheap make your own by welding the end of banjo bolt, grinding down and drilling a 0.8 hole through the weld.....Job done lol!

Yep. I actually made a restrictor out of a 6mm X 1.00 allen set screw (.889mm orifice drilled through it) and tapped the ID of the banjo bolt to those threads. Works great and I didn't risk buggering the threads of the banjo bolt with heat from welding. Thanks for your help.

Also in the process of having a restrictor fitted in the Turbo oil line. Defi gauge shows 8bar from cold start-up and settles down to 4bar when warm/hot, quite a high oil pressure, running a Jun oil pump. It was fine with the twins Garrett GT3071Rs as soon as I changed to a single Garrett T04z its started to burn oil through the Turbo. The Turbo's not faulty as it's brand new, well at least I hope it's not. We'll see how it goes after fitting the restrictor, finger's crossed, all should be well.

OMG! 8bar at cold start! That JUN pump is a beast! I think the Tomei is 5bar at cold start. Oil burning throught the turbo is the exact problem I was having.

Tomei 2.8 stroker w/ Tomei 7660 turbos. I haven't started the car back yet. I'll get the rest of the intake and such together this weekend. It should be fine now with the restrictors in place.
